Telemann in Pszczyna

What is the link between Telemann and Pszczyna?
In 1705–1708, Georg Philipp Telemann was a guest at the court of count Erdmann von Promnitz in Żary as the court Kapellmeister and organist. In summer months he often left Żary for Pszczyna, which at that time was the lordly estate of the Promnitz family in Upper Silesia. It was mostly in Pszczyna where Telemann had the opportunity to become acquainted with Polish music. The effect it had on him was visible in his future creative work: „[…] it was there and in Kraków where I got to know Polish and Haná music in its true barbaric beauty […]. An observant person could equip himself with ideas for his entire life within one week. To put it plainly, this music has a lot of good in it […]. Later I composed various great concertos and trios in this style, which I adorned in the Italian manner with changeable adagios and allegros- Georg Philipp Telemann wrote in his autobiography from 1740.
