How does the active engagement with Telemann’s life and work look like in your city?
The music school in Żary bears the name G. Ph. Telemann. The school signed a partnership agreement with the music conservatory in Magdeburg. It is the only school in Poland which bears the name of Telemann. Every year joint concerts are held and on the first weekend in December Żary holds the Telemann Youth Festival.
