In addition to the attractions linked to Telemann, what should the tourists visiting Pszczyna aim to see?
The Castle Museum in Pszczyna is one of the most exquisite museums-residences in Europe. The Castle boasts approximately 80% of its original furnishings from the turn of the 20th century, which makes it an authentic former aristocratic residence. As part of its extensive range of visitor attractions, the Museum offers a series of permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as the restored Prince’s Stables complex, which was constructed in the second half of the 19th century.
The Museum of the Silesian Press showcases exhibits related to periodical press, former methods of printing and bookbinding. The museum also houses the „Telemann chamber” - a room dedicated to chamber music, with historical musical instruments on display.
The Centre of Bison Breeding and Ecological Education is where visitors can learn about the natural world of the Pszczyna Land.
The Pszczyna Village from 1975 showcases a dozen or so historical wooden buildings which for the most part originate from the 19th century.
