At which special places and in which special spaces will the events take place?
In 1711 the Leipzig merchant Georg Heinrich Bose bought a house at the Thomaskirchhof which is named after him today and which is today home of the Bach Museum Leipzig.
The landlord extended the building complex in Baroque style to the still visible four-wing building with courtyard and had the so-called summer room set as a concert hall with a movable ceiling paint in the south wing. The painting provides a view of a music gallery or sound chamber with excellent acoustic characteristics. From here music was performed in the baroque period. Today, the Bach-Museum regularly organizes concerts with well-known Leipzig and foreign interpreters in the so called summer hall. Works by G. P. Telemann will be performed there on March, 19th and September, 17th 2017, starting at 3 p.m.
